He holds a degree in neuromuscular therapy (BHS Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy, 2012), health science diplomas in therapeutic massage (2010) and sports therapy (2011), and a certificate in lymphatic drainage (2012) from the Dr. Vodder School International. He later completed a Bachelor of Applied Science and Human Biology (2014) through the osteopathy undergraduate programme at Unitec Auckland.
With 25 years of weight, cardio and gym-based training behind him, Bryan understands effective exercise and nutrition and has a particular passion for prescriptive core and stability training. Since 2011 he has used corrective exercise principles to help clients find better ways to control posture, stability and pain, integrated alongside hands-on sessions.
Assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunction is Bryan's area of expertise. He investigates the cause of dysfunction, assesses contributing factors, and plans treatment to correct postural, biomechanical and stress related issues. He enjoys working with people who rely on their bodies to perform, as well as those who need to de-stress and learn how to look after their health through manual therapy, nutrition and exercise.
